The first thing South African’s miss when travelling aboard is a good old-fashioned home cooked meal.
Whether used in the meal or placed on the table, Mrs Balls has always had its place at the dinner table.
Because of this Mrs Balls has become a great reminder of home.

It’s amazing that something as simple as taste can give you that feeling of home. To a homesick South African,
a taste of Mrs Balls Chutney is all it takes to give them the comfort of being at home, even if it’s for a split second.

Trafalgar Square, London  "Hadeda"

This was a proactive shoot where I had to get super crafty. I had to source and style absolutely everything, for very little money. Other than the Art Director I was wardrobe, casting, art buying and the food stylist. I had to blackmail friends to be in it, drive to Krugers Dorp at 6 in the morning for traditional Xhosa blankets and cook food in my flat the night before.
